In the fish retail business for five generations, the Morgan family has been fishing for salmon and herring since the 1890's and, travelling by horse and cart, “cadging” their fish in neighbouring counties
The shop, which is attached to the processing plant overlooking Carlingford Lough, offers a wide range of fresh whitefish and shellfish, also speciality products including smoked salmon.
Fish filleting can be observed in the factory viewing area, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand with fish preparation and cooking advice for interested customers. Cookery demonstrations are often held.
