Just ten minutes drive from Sligo, close to the airport and one of Europe’s most magnificent surfing beaches, this well-known bar has a big welcoming turf fire, cosy snugs and friendly staff. No children after 9pm. The daily bar menu offers all the usual fare and there’s a good pizza menu.

Upstairs, both Jade Garden and Stoked are operated independently
