Mrs. Anne Neary has offered cookery classes at her lovely 19th century farmhouse near Kilkenny since 1991 and they have never been more popular.
Very well known in the South-East thanks to her weekly cookery slot on local radio (KCLR 96FM), she has also published a successful cookery book, Food For Sharing, and she is very active in the area's promotional activities for local food so she and her school now have a national reputation.
The great ingredients produced on the farm and surrounding area provide a delicious foundation for her demonstrations and practical classes, and students are encouraged to take an interest in the farm and perhaps collect eggs from her free range hens.
Courses are offered for all ages and abilities, with class sizes restricted to twelve students to ensure a relaxed atmosphere and personal attention.
