This very popular hotel is about a mile from the city centre

Conferences/Banqueting (80/70); secretarial services, free broadband wi/fi. Rooms 65 (1 junior suite, 14 executive, 1 shower only, 3 wheelchair friendly, 12 ground floor, 53 no smoking). B&B £65 per room (one or two guests). Children welcome (under 12s free in parents room, cots available free of charge). Guests have complimentary use of Fitness First (located half mile from hotel). Food served Mon-Sat 12pm-9pm, Sun 12.30pm-8pm. Closed 24-25 Dec. MasterCard, Visa.

This very popular hotel is about a mile from the city centre; it has private car parking and there is a pleasant riverside walkway into the city from the hotel.

Public areas include a large traditional bar which tends to be very busy; also The Style Bar - a trendy little bar used as part of the attractive Grillroom Restaurant (with walk in wine room to one side), a standalone room for private functions or the late night residents’ bar at the weekend and the very popular Spirit bar which opens on Friday & Saturday nights from 10.30pm onwards for over 23’s.
