Visitors arriving at this contemporary hotel on the edge of Naas are welcomed into a dramatic and very colourful foyer with an atrium - an early indication of points of difference, and the design brief also ensured that no two bedrooms are the same.
Staff are friendly and helpful and, as well as being suited to the leisure guest, including families (with reservations, see below), it is probably the area's most popular business hotel, with extensive meeting and conference facilities. When all the meetings are over for the day, delegates can unwind in the spa with hydrotherapy pool, relaxation rooms and swimming pool.
There are extensive bar and restaurant facilities, including the Herald & Devoy restaurant and the Barista Bar.
In 2020 the hotel's owners, the PREM Group, invested in a €1 million ballroom renovation project which was designed by celebrity architect and star of RTE's' Home of the Year', Hugh Wallace of Douglas Wallace Architects. Inspired by the Art Deco style of the 'Roaring Twenties', the huge (almost 6,000 sq ft) space is especially popular for weddings, but is also suitable for the conferences and large events events and get togethers for which the this hotel is most famous.
The Osprey Hotel is also home to a live act venue, Centre Stage, and one of the country's biggest night clubs, Time, where events are held on occasion. Guest rooms are available in the quiet end of the hotel on request, and this would be essential on event nights.
