Everyone loves the atmosphere at this pleasingly old-fashioned bar and restaurant at the bottom of Kenmare Main Street; it is a cosy place and has always been known for unpretentious and wholesome good food, served in the informal oil-cloth-tabled restaurant at the back, with an open fire and original cattle stall divisions.
You’ll find pleasing meals of steaks, rump of lamb and prime fish, including black sole, and all sauces used are fresh and home-made.
This cosy bar is especially attractive when visiting out of season, and it’s open all year.
