Wexford (derived from Old Norse: Waes Fjord, also Irish: Loch Garman, Latin: Menapia) is the county town of County Wexford. It is situated at the mouth of the River Slaney near the south-eastern tip of Ireland, close to Rosslare Europort. Recently Wexford enjoyed a building boom resulting in new developments across the county and town.

Wexford is an energetic, cosmopolitan mix of old and new cultures. The ancient town of Wexford is lively and picturesque with narrow cobbled streets and quaint pubs.
