Loop Head is the headland on North side of the mouth of the River Shannon. It is situated in the West of County Clare. Loop Head is marked by a prominent lighthouse and the opposite headland on the South side of the Shannon is Kerry Head. It is an area that is rich in nature and is a great place for walkers.
