Killenard, Co. Laois

Killenard is a small village situated between the town of Portarlington and the village of Ballybrittas in the northeastern corner of County Laois. Killenard is a quiet rural community that was  largely undisturbed by the development boom prevalent throughout Ireland in recent years. The opening of the Heritage Golf and Country club finally attracted developers to the area and consequently there has been several new developments springing up in Killenard.
