Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary

Borrisokane (Buiríos Uí Chéin in Irish) is a small town in north County Tipperary. It is centrally situated north of Nenagh, south of Portumna and Birr. Close by is the scenic lake Lough Derg. Borrisokane is among the largest of a number of villages that dot the landscape around Lough Derg.
