Georgina Campbell
Located on a hillside overlooking Keel Village and Bay, right across to the cliffs, Jon Fratschoel's B&B must have some of the most stunning and ever-changing views in the West of Ireland, as the big waves roll in from the Atlantic.
The interior is unusual but, while it is wacky - and not what visitors generally expect to find in this area - most people go with the flow and enjoy the experience.
There's nothing remotely average about the flamboyant, historically themed bedrooms, which are very different from anything you're likely to encounter anywhere else and have been lavishly refurbished to offer a luxurious style in contrast to the rugged island setting.
