Children welcome, (under 16s free in parents' room, cot available without charge, crèche). No pets. Lift. 24 hour room service. Green Room D daily 6pm-9.30pm, Sun L 12.30-3.30 £21.95. Formerly the Ramada Belfast, this modern four star hotel near Shaws Bridge enjoys a beautiful setting in the Lagan Valley Regional Park, overlooking the River Lagan.


This Belfast Hotels bedrooms are decorated in a fairly neutral modern style and have all the facilities expected of a contemporary hotel, including in-room safes, TV with satellite and movie channels, telephone with voicemail and either a king-size bed or two singles.


There are also executive suites available, intended mainly for business guests, and good leisure, conference and banqueting facilities.


Dining options include The Green Room Restaurant (fine dining; good wine list), The Spice Club (classic Indian) and The River Bar and Lounge (modern fusion Indian cuisine).


Although best known for business, the spacious slightly out-of-town location, easy parking, and good leisure facilities also make this well run hotel an appealing destination for families, and special breaks are often available.
