Open since September 2007, this striking 4 star hotel in Dundalk is conveniently located close to the M1 motorway, halfway between Dublin and Belfast, and - although there is plenty in the area to attract leisure visitors - it has particular appeal for business guests.

A bright and spacious foyer set the tone, and pleasant and helpful staff are quick to make arriving guests feel at home, and to help with information about the area.

Public areas include the Fourteen Below bar, and the remarkable top floor Fahrenheit Rooftop Restaurant - with views over the Cooley Mountains and Irish Sea, this is a destination restaurant and booking is necessary, especially at weekends.

Rooms are fairly spacious and have king size beds and all the usual facilities, including minibar and wall-mounted plasma screen television; well set up for business guests, there is a safe, desk with phone and free internet connection, although lighting could be improved throughout.
