TRUST & INNOVATION â THE TWO KEY INGREDIENTS IN GREAT IRISH FOOD
Irish Food Writersâ Guild Food Award Winners Announced
Six Irish food companies were presented with a much-coveted Irish Food Writersâ Guild (IFWG) Food Award at a food industry celebration at lâEcrivain restaurant in Dublin today, which was attended by Irelandâs leading foodies.
The winners represent the very best of Irish and were awarded for their outstanding produce and important contribution to helping retain Irelandâs reputation, at home and abroad.
According to the Irish Food Writersâ Guild, trust has become one of the most important ingredients in food production in Ireland today and the guildâs members urged immediate action on labelling and transparency, not just in Ireland but right across the EU.
But the good news is, in terms of artisan food produce, the future of the food industry in Ireland is in great hands.
