This fine country estate just west of Cavan town was home to the Farnham family for 400 years, and underwent conversion and (very extensive) additions in recent years to create a luxurious country house hotel with an emphasis on well-being; and the grounds include a Jeff Howes designed 18-hole golf course, fishing, walking and many other activities, and this flagship for the Radisson group in Ireland has become one of the country’s most desirable destination hotels.
Wedding blessings are possible here and there are churches nearby at Cavan town, only one wedding a day will be accepted, and expert advice is offered by the hotel’s Meeting & Events Coordinator; a vintage car, or other special transport can be arranged for the bride & groom on request, also a coach for guests.
The original house has been restored with great authority and it will offer some wonderful photo-opportunities.
The event is held in a drinks reception area and the Ballroom, where a sit down banquet is served; table decoration is supplied, but decorating the venue is the couple’s responsibility - and you may arrange for a piper or other special welcome if you wish (with prior approval of the hotel).
