The Old Midleton Distillery is a fascinating place to visit. Dating back to 1795, a tour of the old distillery is worthwhile; you can, among many other interesting things, see the world’s biggest pot still, take part in a whiskey tasting - and, perhaps, buy a bottle of the unique Midleton Very Rare to take home.
Opening Time:
Winter Tours - November - March, Daily at 11.30, 1.15pm, 2.30pm, 4pm. Summer Tours - April - October, Daily between 10am-4.30 pm. Closed: Good Friday (April 6th), Dec 24th, Dec 25th & Dec 26th.
Admission Charge:
Adult €13; Family (2 Adults, 3 children under 18) €29; Student with ID over 18 €10.60; Senior Citizens €9.60; Children under 18 €7.70; Group Rates: for 15+ €9.60.
