Ennis Friary

Ennis Friary is an impressive 13th century Franciscan friary, founded by the O'Briens, of Thomond who once ruled much of north Munster, has numerous 15th/16th century sculptures carved in the local hard limestone.



Visitors may also view the sacristy, an impressive structure with ribbed, barrel-vaulted ceiling and leading out from the sacristy is the cloister area where part of the arcade has been reconstructed.

Admission Charge:

Adults €3; Child/Student €1; OAP/Group €2; Family €8.
