And, while it may be hard to imagine that one of Limerick’s finest Georgian houses could be a ‘Small Stay’, that is the feeling about this special place - and it is down to private ownership, along with the personal hospitality and care that goes with it to make it a home-from-home. The location is ideal too - overlooking a leafy park (with a lovely view from the first floor drawing room, where Afternoon Tea is served), private parking nearby and only a short walk from the station and the City Art Gallery. Having a holistic spa on site - using only the gorgeous Voya organic products from Sligo, which are also in the bathrooms - adds to the feeling too. You will go out to explore of course, eventually, but everything needed for a restful and restorative break is here – including the thoughtfully varied local and seasonal food offerings in the lovely Long Room, to suit different occasions and times of day, along with plenty of treats to drink.
