Couples can choose from two wedding venues - the exclusive Balyna Country House catering for up to 70 people or the contemporary Moyvalley Hotel catering for up to 250 people as a wedding location.

Balyna House

Moyvalley Estate’s manor house, is a secluded country house offering an exclusive venue for 2 day destination weddings. Catering for weddings of up to 70 people, the wedding party can enjoy the total privacy of this unique location. Guests will have sole use of the house’s original dining room, reception rooms and cellar bar. The house has been recently renovated in a manner sensitive to its rich history and design and retains many of its traditional features. Set away from all other buildings on the Estate, Balyna House combines the tradition and hospitality of days gone by with all the modern comforts associated with a 4 star property.

A charming chapel, located behind Balyna House, is another feature setting this property apart. This chapel is available for blessings and is a fantastic addition for weddings.

The Moyvalley Hotel

A 54 bedroom boutique hotel located within the Moyvalley Estate. The hotel displays all the modern comforts and luxuries of a contemporary 4 star hotel while maintaining the privacy and beauty of an old country estate. Large floor to ceiling windows throughout the property allow guests to appreciate the magnificence of the surrounding countryside. Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort

 

MoyValley Golf Club

The Champions Club is an inland design based on the principles of Links golf. Although removed from the sea, it takes on some of the features of a traditional seaside links course, with tall fescue grass, grand putting surfaces with heavy contouring, run offs and firm surfaces.

The course presents golfers of all levels an equal opportunity to experience the high and lows, the thrills and fears and the agony and ecstasy of golf. A lake guards the entire left hand side of the feature 16th hole where the second shot needs to negotiate both a lake and a narrowing fairway as the approach to the green starts. The green is one of the largest on the course and can easily lead to three putts.

Darren Clarke has achieved this through clever golf course design, a range of tees and the always important elements of risk and reward associated with championship golf.
