CHAKRA by Jaipur Greystones Co Wicklow

A delightful sister to Asheesh Dewan’s other successful Jaipur restaurants in Dalkey, Dublin and Malahide, Chakra was refurbished with verve in 2021, with its stylish and comfortable interior drawing inspiration from the nearby Wicklow mountains. It maintains Jaipur’s crisp, modern, contemporary take on traditional Indian food with colourful, delicious dishes and offers the same warmly attentive service. There are numerous vegetarian choices, and old favourites - along with some less familiar ones, such as the speciality Hari Michi goat dish - are served with splendid accompaniments. Unusually for an Indian restaurant, the dessert menu is also worth exploring and wines are carefully selected to match the food.
