Radisson Blu St Helen's Hotel
Set in four acres of landscaped gardens with views across Dublin Bay to Howth Head, this is one of the capital’s finest hotels and has at its heart a listed building of charm and elegance. It makes a lovely setting for a wedding and, although wedding blessings are not possible here, there are churches a-plenty nearby, at Mount Merrion, Donnybrook, Booterstown and Blackrock.
This
wedding venues receptions are held in the Ballroom or one of the smaller function rooms depending on numbers, and staff are available to advise on every aspect of your day, whether you are planning a small intimate reception or a larger traditional gathering. However, this is not the place for a piper or other similar welcome, and off-site extras like a vintage car or a coach for guests should be arranged separately by the bride and groom.
A wedding at St. Helen's is quite a grand affair, with candelabras on all tables, and foral arrangements undertaken by the hotel for wedding parties over 50 people - and guest accommodation includes 25 suites overlooking the gardens.

Aviva Stadium

The Aviva Stadium is a five tiered state of the art stadium built on the site of the former Lansdowne Road stadium, which was demolished in 2007, and replacing it as home to its chief tenants: the Irish rugby union team and the Republic of
Ireland national football team.
The stadium consists of a continuous curvilinear shaped stand enclosing all four sides of the ground, it's a fully seated venue with a capacity of 51,700.
The stadium tour gives you the unique opportunity to get a sense of what the Irish rugby and football stars really feel like on a match day. The tour consists of a film in the press facilities where you can re-live some of the greatest moments, the hallowed Irish dressing room giving you the chance to sit in the seat of your heroes, walk through the player’s tunnel, pitchside to view the hallowed turf and see the dugouts and the breathtaking view of the stadium from the top stand.
