Tower Hotel Waterford

A central location within easy walking distance of everything in Waterford city, ample secure private parking, large conference/banqueting capacity and excellent on-site leisure facilities are all reasons for staying at this big hotel, which is the flagship hotel of the Tower Hotel Group and a sister property to the beautifully located Faithlegg House Hotel (see entry).

Considerable investment over the last few years has seen an improvement in standards throughout the hotel: the lobby and reception area have been refurbished (and make a handy meeting place), there’s a state-of-the-art conference centre, a smart bistro and a carvery restaurant.

Bedrooms have been renovated too, but do ensure you’re getting a refurbished room when booking as there’s a big difference between old and new rooms; free internet access in all bedrooms.

Conference/banqueting facilities (450/350). Rooms 136 (3 suites, 6 junior suites, 15 executive, 38 no smoking, 3 for disabled); children welcome (cots available free of charge). Lift. B&B from €60-90 pps, ss €20. Leisure centre, indoor swimming pool. Own parking. No pets. Closed 24-26 Dec. Amex, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, Laser.
