Owen and Mary Patricia O’Sullivan's well-named farm guesthouse is beautifully situated overlooking the Beara peninsula, with field walks through farmland down to the shore - and, despite its peace and privacy, it’s also exceptionally conveniently located, just a mile from Kenmare town.
Mary Patricia provides old-fashioned Irish hospitality at its best, with welcoming and efficient reception and spotlessly clean accommodation. A pleasant guest lounge has stunning views and plenty of tourist information and Irish heritage books - and Mary Patricia is herself a veritable mine of local information.
Spacious, comfortably furnished bedrooms have the considerate small touches that make all the difference to the comfort of a stay.
No dinner is offered, but breakfast is a feast of fruit salads, yoghurt, cereals etc as well as a choice of scrambled eggs draped with locally smoked salmon, pancakes or traditional Irish.
