It is a pleasant, well-managed hotel with a friendly can-do attitude, and very comfortable accommodation in well-appointed modern rooms which overlook the championship golf course, a Japanese-styled courtyard or mature front gardens; rooms, which are uncluttered and work well, have good facilities including a laptop safe, direct dial telephone, internet access, satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and tea & coffee making facilities.
The hotel has earned a reputation for good food, both in the comfortable O'Callaghans Bar, and McLoughlins Restaurant, which offers fine dining in very pleasant surroundings and attracts diners from a wide area.
