Hastings Everglades Hotel

Situated on the banks of the River Foyle, close to City of Derry airport and quite convenient to the city, this blocky modern hotel is well located for business and pleasure. Warm and welcoming staff are very hospitable and helpful and, as at all the Hastings Hotels, an on-going system of refurbishment and upgrading pays off as the spacious public areas never feel dated.

The well-maintained bedrooms have all recently been through their regular refurbishment programme and are all very comfortable, with good amenities; most of the bathrooms have also been renewed.

The hotel is quietly situated which, together with a high standard of accommodation and friendly staff, makes it a very pleasant place to stay and they do a particularly good breakfast (from 7am). Although probably most popular for business guests, it is well located for golf, with the City of Derry course just a couple of minutes away and six other courses, including Royal Portrush, within easy driving distance.

* The Everglades is the only hotel in Derry city open on Christmas Day.
